Allocation starts for the ready units at the affordable housing project at Ngara
The Kenyan government through its State Department for Housing and Urban Development; has begun allocating the ready units for the Ngara Affordable housing project.
The application exercise for consideration of suitable occupants will be coming to an end towards the end of the week. The Park Road Scheme in Ngara will see its units’ sale come to an end within the weekend.
Once your application on the website: bomayangu.co.ke for the Park Road goes through; you’ll be required to submit a commitment plan on how you will finance the remaining balance.
For qualified buyers who cannot afford to fully buy the apartment with cash, the national government has entered into a mortgage deal with various local banks; where people can inquire for a pre-approval for the balance.
Some of the financial institutions mentioned include Equity Bank, Co-operative Bank, Absa, KCB, Stanbic, NCBA, and Housing Finance Group, who have pledged a total of Sh365 billion worth of mortgages for the affordable housing program.
