Sarova Hotels & Resorts eye middle class with 2 restaurants
On Tuesday, Sarova opened 2 restaurants at Urban Eatery in Westlands. This is observed as a move to help the hotel chain remain afloat – especially due to the current global pandemic, Covid-19.
The Sarova MD, Jimi Kariuki spoke of the Covid-19 posing an impactful challenging year to the hospitality industry; and how the Sarova brand saw an opportunity to innovate and creatively market their cuisine experiences outside the hotels.
The two restaurants offer diverse taste by infusing different food cultures around the world.
Chiso, the first restaurant will mainly serve Thai, Malay, Chinese, Japanese, and Indonesian Cuisines.
The Kitchen, the second restaurant will focus on Western, African, and Indian cuisines.
At the moment, Sarova’s restaurants will be serving food 15% less price, outside its hotels’ establishments.
Urban Eatery in Nairobi’s Westlands District is a trendy dining space that offers different kitchens serving different cuisines.
